McTAR rally & race entered the Wintertrial 2006, by Classic Events. Driver Jeroen Hunfeld will steer a 1970 Alfa 1750 GTV through Holland, Germany, Czech-republic, Slowakia, finishing in Austria. For the first time in his four wintertrials, Frank X. Sorée will be his co-pilot. After their 2nd place in the most recent IJssellandrally, they are up for more...

PREPERATION 1 - TRAINING: While stand-in co-pilot Mark Straathof took his chances sitting in on some heavy training sessions on Circuit Lelystad, I took the opportunity snapping some video and photo’s of Paul Maaskant and his temporary Wintertrial-students. |

SIGNING IN & SCRUTINEERING

PREPERATION 2: It finally is getting started. This afternoon (sat 28/1) we met at Van der Valk Eindhoven (thanks Ron) and finished the trip to Chateau Gerlach together. After signing in and a seemless scruteneering we got ready for the last briefing and a farewell-diner. |
